Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Training

Question, Persuade, Refer - or more easily known as Q.P.R. - is a three-step training program that ANYONE (parents, friends, volunteers, ministers, teachers, nurses, supervisors, firefighters, bartenders, others) can learn to help prevent suicide. QPR teaches how to recognize a mental health emergency and how to get a person-at-risk connected to the help they need.

"Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Each year thousands of Americans, like you, are saying "Yes" to saving the life of a friend, colleague, sibling, or neighbor."
